Nationwide IT Services Provider for Small Businesses Serves Over 10,000 Clients in Last Decade

(Redwood City, CA) October 4, 2007: All Covered—the only nationwide information technology (IT) services partner focused on enabling the success of small businesses—announces its year-long celebration of having provided IT services to the small business community for a full decade.

How it All Started
In 1997, the company started its business in the San Francisco Bay Area with the mission of providing computer and network support to an underserved market – small businesses. As use of the Internet and email quickly grew, small businesses saw information technology more integral to running their business. With this increased dependency on IT, small businesses became more vulnerable to malicious activity such as worms and viruses, saw the need for increased security and wanted a way to manage this function effectively. They could not afford a full time IT department, nor could they justify hiring a full-time person to support their information systems. “We filled the void and provided part-time, professional IT support, for an affordable hourly fee,” said David Beaver, co-founder of All Covered, “with the same quality and expertise normally seen in IT departments of larger companies.”

Within two years, the company expanded to Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle and Dallas. By the end of 2001, All Covered’s technical team grew to 200 consultants, serving 3,000 clients in 18 major metropolitan areas across the U.S.

All Covered Today - 10 Years Later
Today, All Covered has over 300 employees and serves over 4,500 clients annually. Since its early days as a 10 person company, All Covered continues to stay abreast of the latest technology advancements as well as expand its suite of services including: Remote Monitoring, a 24 x 7 Network Operations Center, a Client Support Center (remote desktop and server support), communications security and compliance solutions, a Client Portal, Procurement Services for total IT lifecycle management and online backup solutions for desktop computers and servers.
